Do you feel it too? The days are getting shorter, the air smells like autumn, and I can tell: winter is on its way. And while I love cozy sweaters and candlelight, I also know my daily 10,000 steps suddenly become a challenge. But this winter I’m doing it differently—want to hear my plan?

Look, I love summer because everything happens naturally. Little bike rides, beach walks, a quick loop after dinner. But as soon as it turns cold and dark, the couch becomes a magnet. And those menopause pounds? They start sneaking up.

Well… my metabolism is slow. Moving during menopause is crucial to fire up the engine again—there’s no way around it. Women in menopause need a different approach to weight loss and exercise; that’s crystal clear to me now.

Then winter comes knocking. For me, it’s often a time of apathy—sitting under a blanket with a bowl of crisps. This year I’m doing it differently.
